Gloves

There are a few leather products we carry that we aren’t set up to produce ourselves. One of these is gloves.

We utilize Churchill Glove Company in Centralia, Washington. Like us, they are a family owned company that has been building gloves for over a century. We believe their gloves are the finest available, and are proud to put our name on them.

Our specific style utilizes all exterior seams, so there are no internal seams or knots to cause discomfort. We offer both 100% Langlitz Leathers goatskin, and some that have deerskin on the palm side, for the ultimate in comfort and protection from the road and other low flying debris that face motorcyclists daily.

The goatskin is black, and the deerskin is offered in black, gray, or “oatmeal”.

Long wearing and comfortable, these offer key protection from the hazards of motorcycling. They feel and look amazing, and just seem to get better with age; a perfect companion to your Columbia or Cascade, whether on a cruiser or sport bike.

Hip Huggers and T-Straps

“Hip Hugger”, “fanny pack”, “waist bag”… By whatever name its known, ours is the finest, hand-made, customizable leather version available. Typically combined with a strap extension (see our t-strap, as pictured below) and worn as a cross-body bag, similar to a bicyclist messenger bag. We offer two base styles to begin your custom personalization fun. The backs of both are similar, with a zippered pocket and our diamond stitched padding.

The larger version, the Outside-Pocket Hip Hugger, has a slightly larger main compartment, with an additional zippered exterior pocket on the front panel.

The Inside Pocket Hip-Hugger has a slightly smaller main compartment, and has an extra internal zippered pocket.

The most popular option is to give the front panels our diamond stitching, but it can also be done to the top and bottom panels, and even the extra external pocket on the Outside-Pocket Hip Hugger.

Traditional black cowhide or goatskin is always a good choice, but there are lots of color options for the leather and thread. Brass hardware is standard, but you may also choose silver or black (except the D-rings, which are only available in brass or silver).

Motorcycle Mountable Tool Bags

We offer two styles of “Touring Bags”, both based on our classic 10” tool bag. It’s approximately 10.25” x 3.75” x 5”. It can be made with the zipper opening along the narrow side, or down the middle of the wide side, similar to a toiletry bag.
The first style is secured to your MC by two long, ¾” wide straps, each with 3 strong snaps to secure it.
The second style has one has a single 2.5” wide strap around the middle. It closes with two rows of three snaps.

Carry handles can be added to the single strap version easily, for added convenience.

The “Vintage HD Tool Bag” is a somewhat triangular bag designed to fit into the metal box of the same shape on vintage Harley Davidsons. It’s a perfect way to take advantage of your bike’s tool-box without having tools and such rattling loose in there. It makes utilizing the box on your vintage HD much easier and convenient.

Racing Timberline

The “Racing Timberline” is our “straight-front” zippered jacket. Fully lined, and heavier than the K9, it’s lighter than our jackets with the offset front zipper. Typically built with x2 chest pockets and a “bound neck”, it’s a beautiful design, with simple, classic lines. Straight yokes in the front, give it a bit of western styling. For added safety from the road, shoulder and elbow pads can be added. Two chest, and one internal map pocket are standard. The same pocket options are available as on any of our jackets. Adding a pair of handwarmer pockets is a good way to customize it to make it your own.

K9

The K9, (so named for the wonderful chenille patch found on the original one that Ross built in the mid 1950’s), is an unlined goatskin “shirt”. Lightweight, yet tough as nails, the goatskin provides riders the safety you would expect from a Langlitz Leathers product yet is quite comfortable to wear anytime. Where it really shines, is on the hottest of summer days. Enabling safety to be maintained, when typically, the heat would force the abandonment of heavier, lined leathers.

The K9s we build today, are nearly exact replicas of the original “green label” one hanging proudly in our shop. It sports a Cossack collar, a lightweight brass zippered front, “pinking” on many of the edges, eyelets in the armpits matching the original, two chest pockets that snap closed, and zippered sleeves.

Popular options include; swapping the snaps on the chest pockets for zippers, or, leaving the pockets off entirely. Shoulder and elbow pads, or a western yoke. We also had a local knitting company replicate the “K9” patch found on the original. There are a few color options as well. For the absolute pinnacle of comfort in the heat, choose white goatskin!

Leather Dressing

Don’t forget to grab an 8 ounce tub of leather treatment. This combination of oils, waxes, and silicone will keep your jacket feeling good and a bit more resistant to rain. This leather dressing is made by Snowshoe Laboratories in Portland, Oregon.

K-Hooks

Key hooks. Put them on your belt. Hold more things. These come in two sizes, slim and wide. Choose from any of our leather and thread colors.
