From the very early days of our existence, Ross rapidly gained a reputation that extended far beyond his hometown of Portland. The world had never before seen motorcycle leathers of such quality. Word of his work spread quickly to foreign countries and he began receiving orders from Europe, where we still have a loyal following of customers who appreciate his styles and workmanship. To accommodate the interest of the Europeans in our world class leathers, a German language version of our web site is now available.

That same appreciation for quality American manufacturing was discovered by the Japanese market in the early 1990s, where it quickly became recognized as representative of "the way it used to be" in America.

The Japanese embraced our business philosophy wholeheartedly and their motorcycle and clothing shops then began buying our merchandise for resale. Their enthusiasm threatened to swamp our little company with many orders, and we began seeing knock-offs and other underhanded business practices emerging there. So after a decade of market evolution, we established an Authorized Dealer network in Japan, which is exclusively under the direction of Langlitz Japan in Nagoya.
