Pants
English
To compliment our leather jacket or shirt, we recommend our
WESTERNS
instead of chaps. Worn over the boots, and with the highly recommended
LONG LEG ZIPPER option,
they are easier to put on than chaps, and have pockets to keep valuables from getting lost.
We recommend ordering the
JEANS STYLE POCKETS in the front if you want a comfortable place to
rest your hands, and the standard
zippered rear pockets for things you don't want to lose.
Not only do they give you the option of wearing jeans, cut-offs or nothing beneath,
but they also keep you drier from the rain that runs off your jacket, and safer from the
pavement that may scuff your butt! Add a 2" police grade
pants belt and you will have a fully
functional pair of pants that will not only look great, but also save your butt in the event
of an accident! If you want more, a built-in
kidney belt
and/or hip and knee pads are available too.
Naturally, the Western pants can be ordered in
goatskin just as the jackets.
COMPETITION BREECHES
were designed to go inside the boots, so that the off-road rider would have maximum protection from
rocks and brush without getting hung up in a looser fitting pair of pants. They are often ordered
with full padding and
kidney belt.
They feature a special expansion pleat in the back of the knee
to allow for a snugger fit to get inside the boots.
RANGERS
are another style of pants that are meant to be worn inside the boots. In typical fashion of
the older military style breeches common to cavalry and police work, they feature a fuller
thigh "peg" that allows for a snug fit below the knee, and a loose fit above.
Those who want the old-fashioned look of leather breeches commonly wear Rangers.
