Ross' first jacket was the COLUMBIA. It is the epitome of the traditional biker jacket. Designed with a heavy duty adjustable band at the bottom that is sufficiently strong to carry the weight of a policeman's gun belt. It employs a heavy duty offset front zipper that keeps the weather out in the winter and allows the lapels to fold back for cooling in the summer. The back dips down to give better overlap over the pants, and the sleeves cant forward to allow for easy handlebar reach, assisted by the semi bi-swings on the back. The Columbia comes standard with a dress collar, but may be ordered with either a removable fur collar, or the COSSACK COLLAR. Shoulder and elbow pads may also be ordered for additional protection. Additionally, the Columbia may be ordered with belt loops and the optional SAM BROWNE BELT for those who desire a bit more support or need to use the jacket for police work. (Badge patches are also available.) Epaulets on the shoulders are also a popular option.

Some popular variations of the Columbia include the POCKET COLUMBIA and the PADDED POCKET COLUMBIA. Each version comes with 4 inside pockets (map, wallet, gun and hidden) and 6 outside pockets (2 hand, right wrist, left biceps, chest and watch.) They also include the belt loops and Sam Browne belt. They differ only in that the Pocket Columbia with epaulets on the shoulders, instead of the shoulder and elbow pads featured on the Padded Pocket Columbia. Naturally, they can be modified to your heart's content with fewer or more options ... if you desire! But I've got to warn you, they look pretty darned good in their standard configuration!!!

The CASCADE is our second most popular jacket. It mainly differs from the Columbia in that it does not have the adjustable band at the bottom. It is most often ordered with the short Cossack collar, but may be ordered with the optional DRESS COLLAR, with or without the accompanying collar or lapel snaps. Like the Columbia it features a YOKE BACK with semi bi-swings for unrestricted movement. Furthermore, PINSTRIPES are an option that can enhance the look of the Cascade. Another common option is shoulder and elbow pads, which not only change the basic look of the jacket but also give good protection in the areas you are most likely to need it in the event of an accident.

Features common to both jackets include an assortment of standard and optional pockets. Standard pockets include 2 outside hand pockets with zippers, and one open inside map pocket. Optional pockets may include upper and lower sleeve pockets, outside chest or inside wallet, hidden (in the armpit lining), gun or flap closure watch pocket. Except for the hidden pocket, the optional pockets may be ordered with leather lining for added durability. (Note: The gun pocket automatically comes leather lined, whereas leather lining the map and wallet pockets is discouraged for technical reasons.)
